Yes for my wife it took approx 3 months. She applied in last week of november 2022 and in February 2023, MIFI contacted employer for the financial statement. If you file is complete it should take 3 months

1. Quebec expereince program (PEQ): Two who complete two years of working experience in Quebec. They will also need to be proficient in French
2. Those who recieve invitation in Aarima based on there profile score (Those with score 550 - 600 these days)

I am in the same situation, however, my wife with open work permit got a permanent job. Her employer helped in VJO process and then we received the invitation.
