How to send passport from US to CPU-Ottawa ? What is best way?
They said use address label from Canada post, its confusing, how to get return address label from Canadapost in USA?
If you are sending your passport to Ottawa from the US, you need to use a courier, such as FedEx or DHL. If you want your passport and CoPR returned to an address in the US, you will send Ottawa a prepaid, self-addressed courier (FedEx/DHL/etc.) envelope in the package along with your passport and other items your PPR email requested.
Ignore any references to Canada Post or XpressPost. Those items are for Canadian addresses only.

It clearly states in the PPR email instructions to use a courier envelope and prepaid, self-addressed (to your US return address) label. That's what they will use to return your passport and/or CoPR to you.
Sorry if I seem brusque. It's been that kind of day... :'( At least I received a delivery notice from Canada Post that my PPR package reached Ottawa. (I'm sending from / returning to a Canadian address.)

there is no need to make an appointment at the land border, i doubt they will even allow you to. You just show up at the border, hand them your COPR and tell them you are there to land. The primary officer will send you into secondary to complete the landing procedure. all you need to land is your COPR and Passport (and any declaration forms for declaring items). There is no rule that a person must land immediately upon approval, the only rule is that they must land by the expiry date on the COPR, so waiting until then is not suspicious. if it comes up, then be truthful. it's not a big deal and shouldn't have any effect on the landing.
Received my DM on ECAS on Feb 7th and still haven't received an email or update to MyCIC... grounds to worry/call? My current work permit here expires in just three weeks. :-[

I also got DM on the 10th and from what I've seen the emails do go out in batches. It looks like the last batch was on the 15th around 11pm (assuming this is ON time) so fingers crossed for tonight or tomorrow!
currently sept and oct US applicants are being approved, so the processing is still within 6 mo.
we won't know whether the new application slows things down until january/feb applicants start getting processed, since the new package wasn't required until Jan 31. we are still at least 2-3 months away from knowing.
