Oooooh....I like your reasoning, but somehow think CIC would argue that it's just being processed inland. However, you can always try ... for all you know it'll work 8)

Question: I'm sending in my application on Thursday, is there anything I should change, due to this new CPP-O development?
In particular, the medical Appendix 2 where it says "Visa office where this will be processed"?

Update the visa office to "CPP-O" if you can. If not, don't worry - I'm sure they'll translate Buffalo -> CPP-O for a while without complaint

Excellent. One thing - if/when the doctor goes bonkers, just change it to Buffalo

You can joke with the physician that's it's similar to the DMP -> Panel Physician transition (they were called Designated Medical Physician until recently)

All files will be redirected to Ottawa. It has explicitly said Buffalo applicants. I am wondering if this also pertains to the satellite office. Mine was transferred to LA a few weeks ago and I haven't heard anything yet. Are all files in America being sent to Ottawa?? It doesn't make that clear. ???

Hm. I'm thinking it's for just Buffalo, and for any sitting at CIC-M. I'm hoping Ottawa is a little faster, it's convenient for us as we live an hour and a half south. But not so much for someone in say, BC? ???
