so if the address change last week wasn't telling me the passport was on it's way back I can guess this means it is forsure! Don't worry cgagnon it's coming! was 6 months and 16 days from date they received application to decision made!
Shouldn't be to much longer cgagnon, was reding the LA thread and manispreet got their passport back yesterday and it was requested the same day as you, tho they are in California already so mail got to the much faster, but it's definitely on it's way! are you as excited as me? I feel like a postal worker stalker LOL
Question. Per our approval letter, my PR app is being sent to/processed by Ottawa. The letter said that VO was selected based on "your relative's home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."
To calculate the processing time, should I still be looking at Outland or Inland times? Outland doesn't show Ottawa as a VO.
I hope it's Inland, beings I'm living here atm...it's only an 8 month processing time -vs- 10 for the Seattle VO-which is what I put down as my VO.

If you applied outland, you should look at outland times, regardless if you are in Canada right now. If your file is in Ottawa, it will still be finalized by Seattle if that is your VO. Happy waiting...
...and waiting, and waiting, and-you get the idea.

You may or may not be finalized by Seattle. I received my PPR directly from Ottawa and was directed to send a copy of my passport to CPP-O/Ottawa for the CoPR. It seems to depend on where you fall in the pile.
As a side note, CPP-O seems to be sending PPRs very quickly- but the actual visa is taking longer to get back than people who sent actual passports to LA/Seattle.
