US Green Card lottery

Guys, I know this doesn't really belong here... however, I've been permanent resident in Canada and I'm thinking of applying for US Green Card Lottery just to see if I get lucky .

1. Would it change anything for me regarding my canadian permanent residency if I'm selected to apply for US Green Card?
2. Would I lost my Canadian PR?
3. Or it doesn't matter at all (which is what I think so far) and I'm allowed to be permanent resident in Canada with US green card in my hand?

2 - No.
3 - Sure but as you're aware if you want to keep your Canadian PR you have to meet the residency requirements.
