US green card after Canadian PR

Are there people here who applied for US green card after Canadian PR?
Is it rare case?

Good. So if one applys for Green Card while holding Canadian PR is OK?

Yes, that's fine. Canada does not mind you having US PR also. But, US does not allow you to hold both PR's. So if you get US PR (GC), then you will have to relinquish the Canada PR. Nothing to stop from just applying.
