US asylum denied and overstayed. Applying for Canada skilled worker through Express Entry

Hi Guy,
Need guidance please.

I stayed in the US, applied asylum that was denied and over stayed. Now I'm in my native country.
My question is that if I apply for Canada express entry through skilled worker immigration, what are the effects of my US asylum application denial and overstaying?

As long as you are honest about the asylum application and overstay you should be fine. You will have trouble getting any form of temporary visa but it won't negatively effect your PR application.
