Urgent: Wrong Condition on study permit; SIN no. can not issued and can not work

Hi ,

The immigration officer wrote wrong condition on my study permit at the time of issuance at port of entry and my due to that condition, service Canada is not issuing SIN number to me and I am unable to work without SIN.
I have send IMM1436E form with all required documents to amend the conditions but they are saying form is incomplete.

Does any body know is there any other form or what I suppose to so. Does IMMM5709E is the correct form?

Please help, it is holding up my alot of things.

If they told you form is incomplete then make sure to fill it up before sending the application

I have reviewed the form and its totally complete and does have all the required documents as well.

Ask cic what exactly is incomplete and what you missed.

I have called them and they are saying they are unable to see form so only option is to send again form.

If you do it online it should tell you what you're missing. Or, find an immigration agent who can check it for you.

You need to send a new application online asking to change conditions on your Study Permit. Yes, this is an IMM5709 form. When you will be uploading all documents, the only option to explain yoursel would be under "Letter of Explanation" field. Just attach a note of what happened and why you need to change the condition, etc..

But to my surprise service Canada issued me SIN no the very next day I reached Canada and I was working since then. (June 2018). Now through my international students counselor told me to amend the permit and I have submitted the application.. Is there any issue?

As per my knowledge ,you should amend your study permit to make the changes.

Did you amend your study permit?? I am facing a similar situation right now :/
