I got my SIN when i landed in Canada in 2019 as a Permanent resident.
I have been in India for the past 2-3 years and have a student loan through National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC).
Now since NSLSC will be shifted to My Service Canada Account (MSCA) starting from May 2025 i need to make a MSCA account and while registering for the MSCA account i get the following error - Error 1: R001 - The information entered does not correspond to our records. Please check your information and try again. If this situation continues, please call us toll free at 1-866-279-5238 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., local time, Monday to Friday, except civic holidays. If you are calling from outside Canada, please call 1-506-548-7009 (long distance charges apply), from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Atlantic time).
I have tried calling both the numbers mentioned above but the call gets disconnected after 3-5 minutes and I am unable to complete my conversation. The same happens when they call me through https://eservices.canada.ca/en/service/. I have tried calling them through both JIO and Airtel numbers and even through Viber. But its the same problem.
What should i do ?
I have to register for MSCA anyhow in April 2025 itself.
