How long does it usually take to get email from local office?

not sure; usually within days. My husband received an email 2-3 days after a similar email to yours.

All urgent request for citizenship needs to be supported by supporting documents. The documents you sent does not fall into the category of supporting documents. In your case, if you made an application for the job, got the job and was told you need to be a citizen, then that letter of offer showing the conditions of employment would then be considered as a supporting document. The review team would then look into your request and make a decision.

I work for government with PR

CSIS requires Canadian citizenship and will not look at you if you are PR

If you can work with PR, then they won't consider this a reason to approve your request. Plus government jobs can also be in post Canada not specifically CSIS.

Did you get the job? If yes, then they should approve your UP. otherwise, anyone can attach a job description and say I want to apply but I need to be citizen. Again, I am not a man lol

you are not alone my urgent request also got shot down today they told me the same as you got reply Anton but they did say that oaths are coming pretty soon so hold on i know its stupid but i tried now i wont apply for urgent processing anymore i will wait windsor office is still sleeping dont know when they will wakeup.

Update: we submitted an urgent processing request due to a death in the family (Husband side) Aug 27th (resent later Sep 14th due to no response). They responded Sep 15th saying they forwarded the request to local office (Kitchener) - Local office today sent an email to my husband saying they'll schedule him for test in the next available time.

Will update here if they sent anything else.

My question here do you think they'll schedule me too as we sent our apps together?

Did you try to find answer to your question from other sources (as no one has answer in this forum) like calling IRCC?

We replied to the same email from local office Friday requesting adding me to the UP and they agreed by email today. we are waiting for test invite.

Citizenship test was completed 8 days ago. I haven't heard anything back since.

I guess my urgent request has not been accepted?

I called IRCC and I was told they forwarded it in July but they can't confirm and they never confirm (which does not seem true) whether the request has been accepted or not.

did local office contact you? You can use the same email to request the status of UP request.
