Yup - if you had gotten a RQ, that would have been your nemesis. I'm glad it is just a PP pages request, which is harmless and won't add much delay to the application process.

Yes I agree! Actually I found a certified translator who will be translating all my passport for $240 in Toronto, I was like yeaaaaa :).

Yes I agree. PP should not delay the application processing, i already sent my documents to the translator, so I should have them back by Tueadsy. Once received i will mail them to Edmonton Office right away, so by Friday next week they should have them. Finger crossed no more requests.......

$240? Before you proceed, try getting a quote from Docsbase - Certified translation . Send all the pages that need to be translated and request a quote. If you get a cheaper quote, you might want to go with them.

Thank you, I actually did and their quote was a bit higher than what I got with this place. I do haves lots of stamps in my passport, maybe 70 or more. I just want this journey to end

I actually been to 50 countries, so that could be one of the reasons they are asking me all these questions/ want proof lol
I don't mind! Hopefully, that is the last thing and no need for an interview. I am just surprised why they send me the request via mail not email! I am sure it's because they could not understand the language and had some suspicious about the fact that I may left Canada, however, can't they see I only had one Canada stamp when I first came to Canada, and one when I did my landing at the Edmonton IRCC office a few years back?
That's how bureaucracy works.....

It's been a month since I asked for the urgent processing. The online agent has forwarded my request to the local office. How long does it take the local office to acknowledge? My file hasn't been touched since May, when they cancelled my citizenship test for no reason.

It depends on the office and your file. My UP request got approved within a few days but might take a while for some people. Do you know why they cancelled your test? Did you talk to IRCC or order GCMS notes? What's the status of your BG checks?

Hello Everyone, I work for a US company as a contractor from canada. They want me to come to US on TN visa. If I get a letter saying that my presence in US is needed and they want to bring me in on TN will that stand as a urgent case? The company is a well reputed tech company in US.

Try to apply it never hurts.

You case is not in the interest of Canada

Getting job outside using canadiang passport is not one of the requirements for urfent processing
