URGENT - Please help me understand this

Hi, was on my way home from work and got an email from CIC stating your application has been Updated.

I log in and it says

1) Medicals: Passed
2) Review of Eligibility: In Progress
3) BG Check: In Progress

But this was updated this morning and I did not get any email informing me of the morning update. Is this the so called ghost email or do the 'Update' emails come almost 24 hrs after the update happens? Please help me understand this.

You're right, sometimes there's a delay in the notification email when there is an update to your MyCIC profile.

Usually BG check switches to "in progress" after medicals turn to "passed".

Normal stuff.

I think they have a batch job to send out emails. That's why there is delay between CIC update and email in your inbox.
