I came to Canada as International student on a 2 years program.
I completed my studies last months and now waiting to apply for PGWP.
But I was suspended from college for 2 years on Academic Suspension and I had wasted few more months on applying for restoration of status as I was out of status after suspension.
My question: As CIC suggest student to study full-time continuously. What are my chances to get PGWP?
Should I flagpole? As I can better explain my situation to the officer.
Should I get a letter from College stating I was ineligible to attend college for that period because of suspension?
Technically you do not qualify for a PGWP since your studies weren't continuous. So you'll have to hope the visa officer takes pity on you and breaks the rules.
I would not recommend you flagpole. If you flagpole, it's pretty much guaranteed the PGWP will be refused. You should apply for the PGWP by mail/online.
Did you work at all during the suspension period? If you did, that will further increase the chances of a refusal.
