Urgent - Original passport request

Hi dear,

Can someone please help me?
I got the approval for a temporary residence visa as a Student in Canada. However, I did not get the original passport request in CIC online account.

The issue is I need to get my passport stamped with the Canadian visa but they need the original passport approval letter in order to stamp my passport.

Does anyone know why I did not get the original passport letter?
Can someone please advise me what to do next?

Note: my account was linked to another account (is this the reason I don't see the original passport request?)

The application was submitted on June 15, 2019
The application was approved on July 26, 2019

ohhh almost 5.5 weeks then..

i've applied on the 14 july and still waiting for an answer dear!! so stressed!

How many messages do you see in GC Key, do you have access to the other account your application is linked in.

You should have raised a webform request after 1-2 days after you did not receive original passport request. I would suggest you send a webform ASAP.
