Thanks for the information but did you check if one would require a new PCC as we have travelled outside Canada while our application was in process and still not approved (no eCOPR yet)
PCC is usually required if you stay outside Canada for more than 6 months, and it's only required when submitting your PR application, not when the application is already being processed. If IRCC still needs a new PCC, they will contact you by email.
i am currently in a similar situation. I am currently in Canada, and will travel outside Canada on February 4th 2024 for a month and return on February 28th by Flight to a far away country. So I want to still have the TRV visa and a valid work permit.
On 15 December 2023, i received an email about Permanent residence confirmation. They say reply the email with requested information within 7 days. And I do not receive a link for portal. Does it mean the portal link will be sent to me after I reply this email?
I replied the email with the requested information (I.e my name, address, last date entrance of canada, etc) and explained that I will have a travel plan soon.
but I am not sure what will be the outcome after replying the email and will I still be able to travel in February?

Hi!
I am in same scenario. I received my portal 1 email and replied that with the info they asked. I also mentioned I will be leaving Canada April 6th and will be back by may 21st. I will be get married. It's been two weeks and still I am waiting for portal 2 email.
My questionto you is, can I add my spouse even after portal 1 email and before portal 2 email?
How you added your spouse to the application?
I am sitting in a similar position to the original post - currently my partner and I have the 7 day confirmation period, despite already requesting a delay. We called IRCC and they said to email the original portal email address to inform them that we will be out of the country in 10 days for 3 weeks and so ask for them to re-send the information upon our return. We can't decide whether to create the profile to change the password then do nothing further at this point, or disregard the email completely and wait for a new account later - what has everyone else done, and has it worked for you?
For my case, I logged in to the portal as password expires in 30 days but did not confirm my address and photo as I was going on vacation. Some forum say if you don’t login it’s fine, once you come back you can call IRCC and let them know and IRCC sends new credentials.
Once I returned back from vacation I told IRCC and logged into portal to confirm my address and upload the photo.
Hope this helps!

Hey, did your credentials expire after 7 days? I'm in the same situation for my dependant because she had to fly home between p1 and p2 and despite telling IRCC, they still created her credentials so now I don't really know what to do. I wonder what happens if she doesn't "confirm" she's in Canada through the portal before the 7 day period lapses. Would really appreciate your insight. Cheers

May I ask what did you do in this situation. I am also planning my wedding in November but not sure if I will receive P1 Or ECOPr Till then?
Want to ask that if I got the P1 Email while I am outside canada or planning to travel how to reply them and alsontell them that I want to add my spouse?
Hi got same question here. I received my p2 portal on September 17th. I changed my credentials and log in on the same day. However, is it possible to submit my photo and address after the 7 days deadline? I expect my delay will be around a few days, maybe a week. I have replied to my portal 1 email about my situation but not yet got a reply.
