Hi all
I received my nomination a month ago under SRS PGWC. I got laid off today. i have not applied for the PR yet. Pls lee me know can i apply for the PR without a job or should i need o find a job first? I need to notify AINP about it?If yes, will they cancel my nomination? On nomination certificate it is mentioned to notify in job change to ainp "WHILE WAITING FOR A DECISION FROM AINP" My nomination is with "No employment restrictions"
My previous job was under NOC B, what if i get a new job in NOC C?

Am really sorry to hear this. It is better to approach a lawyer and seek his advice. Best of luck buddy.

Sorry to hear bout the lay off. You should be able to apply for PR without a job imo since your nomination doesn't have any restriction and is not tied to a specific job or employer.
Just to be sure, call up AINP and ask them about this situation as a general question.
Don't call no AINP .Find a consultant

don't listen to him because you have to inform AINP
you mention it already you have to inform AINP about every change in employment
(maybe in around 4-5 week's - it give you a little bit time)
I personally think there is no problem with your lay-off, but i'm not sure.
In your case I would apply as soon as possible to IRCC (CIC) for PR.
and look for another job.
I know it's not so easy here in Alberta but you have find work here
and bytheway I got my nomination while i was unemployed in 2015.
April 1 - got laid-off
May 18 - informed AINP
May 29 - got AINP-nomination
July 20 - found work
August 4 - applied for PR
If you inform AINP they will cancelled your nomination .And if you could see a consultant because they have many cases and everyone Lucknow different

How are you so certain that they will cancel his nomination if he's not employer or NOC restricted ? He can simply call AINP and ask about this situation as a general question before giving them any details to begin with.
AINP0007 is my profile
Thanks for replying to all.
I have a job offer for a supervisor position. Actually its a company of my relative. he is providing me a job offer and show me his employee and issue salary. By this i will apply to ircc and update ainp also.
I will not actually work there but will try to find job in edmonton in the mean time. once i get the job in edmonton I will again update ainp and ircc.
Is that a good shot?

@ sasha18 stop posting things against AINP-rules
he have to inform AINP because it is clearly writen in the AINP-certificat
if he don't inform AINP then maybe he get much more problems.
The other reason is he have to list all work activities including unempoyment in the work-history
If not and they find out then its probably a case of misrepresentation
and than they can bann you for 5 years to apply for PR

I have not applied for the PR yet.

I would also call them first. No need for a consultant.

it's from the AINP-website
Keeping your AINP application up to date
Sending additional documents or information to the AINP
You may only send in any additional documents or information to the AINP once you have an AINP file number. This file number is included in your confirmation email or confirmation letter.
Submit only information that is either requested by an AINP officer or that is relevant to your application. This includes, but is not limited to:
documents that show any changes to your address and telephone number
documents that show any
changes to your employment or family situation
renewed work permits
http://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/programs-and-forms/ainp-processing-inventory.aspx
and last year when I was in similar situation I ask them via contact-website and this was there answer
You must notify the AINP office about any change in your employment status by mail or fax

Hello Alberta0007
I would be carefully with your plans
Again there is nothing wrong asking a experts for help ? Certainly we are not experts here for immigration .So just go for consultation before you do anything .It's only a $100 .
