but in application tracking it is showing as "Visa application, tracking ID No........ is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline
number or visit VAC website.

So what does it means?

Same. I got approval email today but the tracking status at VFS is still "being processed." I wouldn't worry about it. I expect the status to change tomorrow.

This is just to testify that VOs are coping with backlogs. Previously pple get their tracks updated without mail, now it is mail without track being updated. This is rush hours, and every one shld get set for surprises. I hope mail without track being updated seems more positive than latter.

My VFS tracking status says passport dispatched already, one day after receiving the approval letter from CIC. I also received email and SMS alerts that my docs and passport are already en route for delivery.

Hey guys,

I applied for the Student Visa online on 28 June, 2014 and got a mail from Canadian embassy to submit my passport on 21 July, 2014. I went to vfsglobal centre in New Delhi and submitted it yesterday. What does the request for submission of Passport mean? I hope this means that I have secured my student visa or is there still some uncertainty about it? I am confused. Please help.
