Can I submit my PR Renewal (almost 8 months remaining) and Travel after submitting my application? It seems that I have to travel urgently and will be required to stay at home country for few months (2 months) and come back. Is it okay if I submit my PR Renewal Application and Travel, and make sure to come back before my current PR Expires (when 6 months are left)?
Is it safer to travel while application is submitted for PR Renewal?

Reminder: PR status does NOT expire. PR cards expire, not PR status.
There is nothing different about traveling while a PR card application is in process.
Other factors and circumstances may, however, be important, with PR Residency Obligation compliance being the biggest one, recognizing that if the trip abroad extends beyond when your current PR card expires, or you lose your PR card while abroad, you may have to apply for a PR Travel Document in order to make the return trip to Canada.
Current IRCC policy appears to allow renewed PR card applications up to nine months prior to the expiration date of the current card, so applying eight months before expiration should be OK.
