URGENT: CIC REQUEST FOR PASSPORT

Hi guys,
I need your opinion on this because I am under immense suspense. My self and my spouse applied for study permit and open work permit for accompanying spouse in on May 7, 2015 through VFS Global Dubai. we received an email today from CIC Abu dhabi that we should drop passport for both of us. Please what could be the result of our application at this point?

Congratulations, they asked for your passports so they could stamp the visa.

Just to confirm, did each of you received the passport request letter?

For us, it took 3 business days for the passport to be returned.
