Hmm, I will call them to know if I can buy both the shipping labels myself and send them the return shipping label. This way, as everything is on me, I can get things done quickly.
I received shipping labels today. I have initiated on Thursday 9/10 --- received Tuesday 9/15. so you can see the wait time,
Ya, I called VAC and they said due to covid, I can only send passport using their shipping labels and can't use my own. And I paid the fee for two-way shipping labels. As per VAC, it takes them 1 business day to give us a link to pay fee for shipping labels and 2 business days to generate the shipping labels. So, guess, I will wait for 2 more days.
Anyone in group where they have got ppr request but traveled to India and now trying to get stamping done
Hey, what exactly should I expect for shipping labels? Does someone from FedEx bring these labels? Or do VFS email me these shipping labels? Right now, I only got an email from FedEx showing the tracking number and the shipping label is created. But haven’t received shipping label.
I wrote generic reasons as my work is not related to covid. I will be a Postdoc in Canada. So, the reasons are like guiding PhD students, how Postdoc research is important to my university and hence to Canada etc. I also write in the letter that my university has 14-day quarantine plan and facilities for incoming students and faculty.
VFS sent me shipping labels in PDF document to print. both ways shipping labels was there in one pdf.
I wrote information technology used in Banking services and and Banking Services are essential to people of Canada. I do not know what my employer wrote along with attorney, they did not share with me.
you can take that fedex email and go to fedex center they will be able to generate shipping label .. i guess so

My husband sent his employer letter to IRCC to expedite his work permit application( 6 days ago) . After 3 days he has got an email from IRCC asking to provide some information like application nomber and UCI number .... along with the employer letter and send to them . still no news . Do you guys have any idea about it?

@Skm.hussain546 - I’m in the same boat. I got my passport request letter after I traveled to India. VFS centers are closed here so can’t submit my passport for stamping. Wait is still on. Let me know if you get any news on that.
