I just got my study permit renewal approved yesterday. But when I checked the approval letter, the new expiry date has been issued for 31/08/2022. i.e: the end of this month. This is the date for my old study permit. I thought it must be a technical issue from their side, but to my horror, I realized it was my mistake. I uploaded my old CAQ by mistake into the portal. It is a very careless error, I know, I'm usually very careful when it comes to doing stuff like this. I have the newly approved CAQ which only expires the next year 2023. But the CAQ i uploaded was the wrong one, so my new study permit issued is for 31/08/2022. I have already filed a web form to notify them of this mistake. What else can i do to get this situation rectified? Additionally, I'll be entering Canada only on the 18th, so this might complicate matters at immigration.
