Hello,
I am from Pakistan. I currently have a study permit and have been studying online from May 2021 and waiting for flights to open so I can travel. I also have an active EE profile.
I wanted to ask if for EE we can do upfront medical in advance ? In case I do travel in the coming months, It would be convenient for me to have a medical valid for one year for EE in case they do any draws in the next few months.

Yes, you can and should do an upfront medical exam. When you complete the exam, they provide you with an eMedical information sheet which you will submit with your application. Just make sure to confirm with the clinic beforehand that they will submit your results via eMedical rather than paper-based which takes very long. Good luck!
P.S: I believe that the travel ban for Pakistan has been lifted, only India's ban was extended. Check IRCC website to see what the conditions are for flights from Pakistan.

Here’s what IRCC says: “If you have undergone a medical exam as part of an application in another category and/or if you have completed an IME in the 12 months before you apply, you can submit a copy of the Information Printout Sheet and the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form in your application.
