Hi friends I am a FSW Express entry ITA receiver and me and my spouse will enter upfront medical exam. However, in the forum there are many experiences it it should write NON-EDE WORKER, or NON-EDE FAMILY or EDE-WORKER on the status. Do we have a consensus in here? I doctor seems like its her first express entry medical examination so I am afraid of the risk.

Thank you Asivad. Both of the dependent and principal applicant should be under the same category right? Either both non-ede family or both non-ede worker?

Doesn't really matter. There have been successful instances of both categories and even EDE-Worker. Like I said, relax and let the doctor take care of this.
Hello everyone
I got an upfront medical exam for my study permit 3 months ago (type NON EDE STUDENT). I wonder if i can use that information sheet as medical check when submitting my Permanent Resident Application. I read and compare 2 procedure of medical check for temporary and permanent resident but I don't see anything different, apart from the tittle
As you mentioned above, doctor can choose either WORKER or FAMILY as type of examination. Can we use STUDENT as well?
It will be a waste of time and money to retake that medical exam
Thank you for your advice
Any recommendations for any of the panel physicians in Toronto?? I checked the review of a few of them who's office is near Scarborough and North York. It looks most of them are very bad...

Seriously? I am in the EE pool but don't have an ITA yet, can I get my medicals done already? I'm wondering what reference number would they use if I don't have an applicaiton package submitted yet?

I hope someone can share his/her thoughts on this.
I called up a physician for appointment and she asked me what classification was going to be mine. She said there were four of them-
Family;student; worker; visitor
She also said that as per communication received by them in dec2016, the cic has directed them not to do upfront medical exams for family class.
I am not sure what is this classification all about. I explained to her that it was EE (CEC ). But she could not get the point and insisted that their system only recognizes the four classifications.
Please advise.
