Today I went in to do my upfront medical in Kitchener. I applied under CEC last April, 2014. I was wondering if I have to send an email to immigration on my behalf that I did my Medicals? Or should I wait until I get a medical request. My doc gave me a form.
He normally sends one an email stating all is ok and results are uploaded, he did this in 2 days for me. After that I emailed CIC the medical forms Daniel gave me and a few days later I got "medicals have been received" email from CIC. Then a few days later it showed up in y eCAS.

Can someone share their experience on what to expect for the medical examination? what is the timeline ? also on the CIC panel of physicians list it doesnt show who is registered to use e-medical system and who is not, how do I know in order to save time ?
You need to call the Docs' practices and ask about their e-Med capability

It takes between 1 to 2 hours to get Meds done depending on where the Blood and x-ray folks are
