My marital status changed to married after I got ITA. I have updated my profile to include my spousal details, though he will not accompany me in Canada. However as part of the supporting documents , a medical exam is still required. When I inquired the registered medical panel in India (Kolkata) , I was informed that upfront medical exam is closed from the 1st of March 2017.
Is the information correct ? If not , can my spouse visit the clinic to get his medical examination done ?
Some PPs offer upfront medical while others dont. If the PP offers upfront medical, you dont need an ITA. If the PP doesnt offer upfront medical, you have to take a copy of the ITA with you.

This appears to be a spreading problem. I have heard that Brazil and Hong Kong also refuse to book appointments for upfront medicals. What does the secondary applicant do when their name does not appear on the ITA? Have you read any official link dealing with this changed policy?
