I am in applied department...they just said you exempt for IELTS as your university in our exemptions list...thats all...where are you bro?

Am from Ghana in West Africa. They told am exempted from providing ielts scores and also meet the requirements for financial aid but have not heard from them again. My line is 233246301940

I contacted them about two weeks ago and they replied with this:

"Your application was reviewed and shared with faculty on months ago, but I have not received a request for your admission."

It seems they reviewed my application but can't find faculty members who want to supervise me. That makes me very worried because it is written on their website that you cannot get an offer without a supervisor.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? What are the chances that they will not find a supervisor and reject me?

They wrote to me months ago that a request for my admission into the Msc mathematics program has been received and even sent me a bid code to be used for any communication with any faculty or staff but have not heard from them again. If they received request for admission for you, does that not mean you have been accepted? Hopefully all will go well and you will receive your acceptance letter.

You should start applying in some other university because you wont get an offer from here. You would have got an offere to apply formally if some supervisor had agreed. But it seems like no one wants to supervise you at this moment, so I would suggest you not to waste time and look for other universities.
Remember if you dont hear from them in 40 days of submitting your pre qualification form then you wont get accepted.

Appreciate your response. However, most of the universities I checked are already past the deadline. Do you know some universities with open admissions currently (with Fall 2018 start)?

Getting an admit for fall 2018 will be difficult. If you are interested in MSc program ( research based) then you would have to mail professors and it may take weeks to get a mail from them. But there might be some options available for MEng( course based masters) in some moderately ranked universities but their tution would be high. I think you should check university of windsor, ryerson university & university of regina. Their deadlines might not have passed.
