I have applied for M.Eng in Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE) for winter 2017 on 27th july.
Application Status: Complete; Ready for review
Decision: Pending Dept/Faculty Selection

Did anyone get any updates from the university?

Hi all,

I am a B.Tech Mechanical graduate student looking to do M.Eng in a Good University.I have series of questions.

1.Which University is better to do M.Eng(mechanical engg. related) in Canada?

2.Does work experience really matter when you search for a job in Canada??(I am working as a Software Engineer(2months since joining)will work for just upto 6 months afterwards will quit the job to do M.Eng Intake fall-2017.)

3.I am looking to work in a mechanical engg. field once I pursue my M.Eng. but I have a work experience in IT field(8 months) will that affect my Job hunt??

4.Which province in Canada has better scope for Mechanical Engineers?

5. My CGPA(8.074/10)
IELTS(7.5/10)
HSC(95.25%).

Yes, I've been rejected.

Why? And how did you come to know that they rejected you? What did they say?

My status online changed to "Not Accepted"
I've also received an email with letter where they have stated that they couldn't accept me.
Maybe this is because I didn't contact a supervisor in advance.

Even I did not contact supervisor.. I applied in meng co-op but one professor asked me that she is ready to accept me only in masc thesis if I want and I accepted the proposal. Waiting for final result

3 year Lnt experience,
I am waiting for letter... In research are they giving any funding?

Most funny part is I applied only to this university... I do not have any choice if I want to go this winter.
