understanding GCMS notes

Mate, you just got an invitation in October, submitted on Oct 15th (~ 40 days ago) and you are going to apply for the second note? There are still several people applied long time before you (even in April) and still are waiting for a decision. Seriously, you have to chill

I cannot see any bad side of requesting GCMS notes, as I can see the movement of my application and VO notes. And what if there is something wrong with my documents, I can submit CSE asap to provide additional docs.

I got my GCMS notes already as of November 2, 2015.

As an applicant who paid RPRF upon request, per GCMS notes, it’s already COMPLETE.

The weird part is the ELIGIBILITY. Per Summary, my eligibility is not started. But if you run through the pages, I had 18 updates based on eligibility! The cycle goes like this: NOT STARTED, CALCULATION IN PROGRESS, PASSED-CANDIDATE. It was encoded by GCMS System & Siebel Administration.

So currently it’s not yet started as of Nov 1, but the last update saying PASSED is dated October 30. Moreover, it is evident in the pages of the notes that they indicated ELIGIBLE, COMPLETE and PASSED in the eligibility portion. Reason of cycle changes probably due to on-going review of application.

My application was viewed by so many visa officers. Thankfully, all of them stated that I passed. Probably they put the not started back due to next phase.

Due Date is NOVEMBER 30. So I should have an update by this time (or within the next 2 weeks?)

I'm just guessing but based on my gcms notes, one visa officer transferred my app to a different Visa officer

I got 18 updates. From different user ids. The only good thing about mine is the past 18 updates marked me as passed in the eligibility part

for my own curiosity, does each user indicate the date on which they added notes? Can you actually trace the different notes sequentially?

Yes it is in sequence. At first i thought it was just a system-generated update.

But there are different IDs and some parts indicated a transfer by a certain visa officer to another.

The officers notes were many! 8 pages for me. It was noted as R-10 ok, police certificate attached, etc.

Then for further review, then subsequently noted by the next receiving officer.

I guess due to the fact that I worked to many countries outside my home country, they are digging deeper on my application.

i have 26 updates and 16 on eligibility,and that was my last note on eligibility,and i got 20 notes total said R10 ok and one the note said i meet A11.2&R87.1 requirements

and my due date was 29.10.2015 but nothing happened ,..

I think this is quite common acctualy. Most of the updates, calculations and eligibility is done by the sistem itself. Eligibility is passed more than once, for example on the date you recive your AOR, when you recive invitaiton etc. All of this is recorded in your GCMS notes.

The importan bit of the notes, the one that is acctauly done in regards to your current application by the visa officers is located under "NOTES" section - at the end of the GCMS notes ( in my case page number 148.).

Review of securtiy and criminality is located in the middle, in my case pages 80something.

Read your notes in reverse, from back to front, more relevant information is at the back.

according to notes, you met requirements for R10 Compleatnes
CEC the Canadian experience class referred to in subsection 87.1(1) of the Regulations;
A 11.2. EE minimum required criteria : If the applicant’s total score is equal to or greater than the pass mark set by the Minister, and the applicant passes the A11.2 assessment (if the applicant applied under Express Entry on or after January 1, 2015), the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) will forward the entire application, including the result of their initial assessment against the selection criteria, to the office identified by the applicant for processing for a final decision.

according to this, you are still up for admisibility - securtiy and criminality part
