Offtopic but, how did you manage to get PPR in a bit more than a month?

Congrats!
I think depends more on VO and I.Officer who's looking after your file.
And LUCK ? ? ;D

If you are making the request yourself, then proof of your status in Canada (study/work permit, passport).
If you don't have status in Canada, then your consent form naming the person authorized to make the request for you, then proof of the other person's status in Canada.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks! I was quite fortunate I guess
, didn't do anything differently.
Ordered GCMS via visafile.info on April 27th; notes generated on April 29th; received on May 27th:
ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:
NOTES: 1
Created Date: 2016/04/29
Updated Date: 2016/04/29
Office: Centralized Intake Office
Text: *** AGENT REVIEW R10*** POLICE CERTIFICATES R10 OK
R10 ok but 11.2 not yet started. Anyone knows how long between the two? I am little concerned about my employment reference letters due to odd NOC.
In my notes, the gap between R10 OK and the A11.2 assessment was 1 month but Eligibility was still Not Started even after the A11.2.

What does dew date mean in GCMS note?
BTW, whats the due date mentioned in your file?
Are you PNP or FSW and visa office?
In my notes due date for medicals and pcc is validity.
Valid till this date.

I just received my 2nd GCMS Notes today ordered on May 5th.
Nothing has changed since my 1st GCMS which I filed on April 4th.
Security has not been started though it crossed the due date of April 29.
My Understanding :
1. Due dates don't mean anything on the GCMS Notes.
2. ONCE the file is with CPC office they do not touch it and that is what takes the most time.
3. Our assumption that security checks takes the most time is incorrect as my file was transfered to CPC on Feb 29 and since than nothing has been done: Neither in Activity or in INcoming/Outgoing.
4. Only added entry is the ATIP i raised which clears another theory that VO works on our ATIP case. VO is requested information from ATIP dept. and they just forwards the complete file nothing else.
I ordered GCMS notes today via CIC using info from a friend who is a canadian citizen.
Looking forward to see the status of my application.

Never ordered GCMS. Just posted the query to understand what exactly due date mean.
I am PNP , Outland. Assuming my VO is NDVO
Hi all
I had ordered my gcms from ATIP on 10th may.
I got a mail a week later saying that the type of file i chose was wrong
I corrected that
Today again I got a mail saying there was one more order, i correctedand sent a mail to them
Now, wil i get my notes by june 10 - one month from original order date or 2nd July - one month from today ?

hello,
Iam planning to apply for my GCMS notes, iam fsw outland, I will apply with my credit/debit card and will see to that I take help from a PR frend who lives in canada.
If I apply what are all the details of my friend do i need to ask so that local charges apply($5).
What email id do I need to give , can I give mine or his.
please answer my queries.
cheers,
Rrk.
You basically need your friend's complete name and address and canadian phone number. Email ID can be yours. Make sure you select the option that says you want to receive your GCMS via email and NOT the via mail option

Cheers!

Probably some time in the middle - the average processing time for GCMS notes is currently 40-45 days anyway because of the massive inflow of requests they are getting. Either way, it is very difficult to guess.
Mates,
How do we get to know the date on which our application was transferred to Local VO? In my GCMS, it says Secondary Office name as my Local VO, but not sure when it was transferred to there Or if at all transferred ? ( My Notes1 shows office as CPC-Ottawa and created date was the same date as my GCMS note was populated. Does that mean the agent checked my application after i ordered my GCMS? ). Thanks.

Look for "Paper File Transfer History" somewhere above the Notes section.
