My boyfriend lives in England and I am in Mississauga, Ontario. We met online over a year ago, he has flown to Mississauga to visit me last year and I just spent a month in England visiting him. He is looking into moving to Miss. and we do plan to marry. My question is, knowing we are going to marry, would it be beneficial and fast track us at all to marry 1st while he visits me in March of this year, then apply for a spousal visa? Or should he apply out of country now and "change" the application process once we are married. There are so many visa's and I have researched this but the more I read the more confused on the best course for us to take. He obviously wants to work as soon as he lands if possible. Any suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated!

If you're living apart and unmarried, he's in the UK, and you're in Canada, there is no basis for a spousal visa until you are married or become common-law (12 months cohabitation).
In order to work right away, he would need to wait until he gets his PR visa (after marriage and the sponsorship process), find an employer willing to provide a LMO (not easy), or he can look into the Working Holiday. If he does that option, he needs to be prepared. The WH fills up fast.
