I have Pakistani passport got Admission in University in Toronto.
Since I don't have my status in the UK yet decided by home office/court (immigration case pending).
I have below two questions below
1. Can I apply for Canadian study visa from UK while settlement case is being decided (by home office/court - my passport is with me)
2. Do I need to show UK Status/ Visa /biometric card to the Canadian Embassy for my student visa for Canada from UK. My classes will be starting in Jan 2023 so I have very limited time.

1. You can. But it significantly weakens your application and significantly lowers your chances of approval if you are applying from a country where you have no status. You would be much better off either waiting until you have valid status in the UK again or returning to your home country and applying from there.
2. You must state your status in the UK and provide evidence of this with your application. So you will need to say you are out of status and give the context of why this has happened.
