I am in a dilemma.. I have conditional offers from the University of Leicester & University of Liverpool for online distance learning masters. I have checked the WES free tool and both universities are accredited on the list. My questions are :
1- Is there a change that WES will not recognize my Master after graduation because its is distance learning ?
2- Will I get the master points even if my master is in Management or any different field than my Bachelor degree ? (I hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering)

World Education Services (WES) has updated its policy specific to master’s degrees in business administration and postgraduate diplomas awarded in India.
WES recognizes business study in India as equivalent to a master’s degree in Canada a) when the student has completed a three (3) year MBA. or b) when the credential is awarded by certain institutions, such as Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institutes of Management.

This is new information regarding the WES policy change. I got my ECA in June for my Indian 2-year MBA via distance mode, the canadian equivalency in WES report is Masters. So this could be a very recent policy change.
