Hello,
I got a small question please, I have a UCI number from cic on my visitor visa extensions, should I put that UCI number as the UCI in the inland PR application ? Or do I get a new one, once I get my AOR ? thank you in advance !
Any given individual will always only have one CIC-assigned UCI during their lifetime. That's why it's "Unique". So the UCI that appeared on any communication from CIC concerning a temporary resident visa (TRV), even just a rejection letter saying no TRV for you, should be entered as the UCI number on the PR application.
If the UCI number isn't entered it shouldn't be a problem, at least it wasn't in my case, but when I compared an e-mailed letter concerning the PR application with a letter concerning an earlier TRV application, I saw that the UCI numbers were the same and I shouldn't have left UCI blank on the PR application.
thank you for the answer ! Ok, so I will fill out at UCI the UCI number that are written on my visitor records.
UCI stays the same. From first application through to citizenship. Use the one you got on your visitors record
