Hi everyone, I am trying to apply for the experience certificate from RTA website, but after I make the payment it says some error occurred and it is not getting processed. I am already in Canada and I was facing the same issue when I tried applying from India also. Anyone else facing this problem? any help will be much appreciated.

I think it depends on when your driving license was issued. I faced the same issue with my DL, but my husband did not have any problem at all. There was a certain code missing in old DL that the RTA required. It would be best if you know someone from the UAE who can check with RTA directly. (Just suggestion)
Guys, pls how can i get the driving experience certificate for Abu Dhabi? I am outside UAE and my residency canceled. Driving license is still valid. I intend to swap it for Alberta's. Appreciate your comments. Thanks
Unfortunately, unlike Dubai app the Abu Dhabi app doesn’t have the option to print the e-certificate. I went to Muroor Abu Dhabi Police Station (Licensing Department) and asked for the certificate. I pretty much looks the same as Dubai’s version. I asked the officer to make sure it is the right document and she was very sure, she said people asked for the same certificate when they go to Canada. I believe I still need to get the certificate attested, but not sure where. Anyone here who have successfully converted their Abu Dhabi license? Please advise.
Don’t make an IDL specifically. Your UAE DL is perfectly fine to be used for a period of 90 days or until you obtain the G1 temp license(which ever is earlier)
Your regular license is good to drive for 3 months. Your international license will be good to drive for 6 months. Please check website for updated in rules.
So make an idl if for some reason you want to be able to drive longer. Most folks usually would have started their g1/g2 application sooner and hence don't bother getting idl.
