Any news regarding the correct category for Postdoc fellows?
From what I've read above...
1. A work permit for academic exchange, research or training
seems to be non LMO exempt (I don't know yet what that means exactly) and possibly for short periods
2. A work permit with a labor market opinion exemption
seems to require an official translation of phd certificate
3. A post-graduate work permit
seems to be something specific to students like phd candidates, not postdocs.
From a specific university:
• When asked whether you plan to work in one of a number of categories, one of the options will be. “Highly skilled workers and researchers (Global Skills Strategy)”. Please answer NO to this question.
• When asked what kind of work permit you are requesting, please choose, “Work permit with a Labour Market Impact Assessment exception”.
