Have you heard anything yet from the embassy?
Re: TWP applications in Kingston, Jamaica HELP
Do you have to show proof of funds when applying for a trv in Kingston?. My husband is a Jamaican and I am Canadian, we've applied about three time and been denied each time we now have decide to apply for the sponsorship. We originally were'nt ready to relocate to Canada permanently but told ourselves this might be the only way to finally meet my mother(visa was even denied for the birth of our daughter). Now, my mother is not doing so well and I would love to giver her a hand with my husband and daughter for a few weeks this summer,so we are debating if we should try once more. I recently heard that if married proof of funds is not necessary, but in our refusal letter proof of funds is always an issue.
Complicated or not ????
Please help us out, blessings.

You need to submit proof of funds since it's the issue in your refusal letter. May I ask what kind of application did you apply and been denied? TRV for visit or working visa? For 3x you had a refusal letter are those same reasons why you deny or different reasons in each refusal letter everytime you apply?
I am waiting on my police then my application will be put in. I hope i dont have to wait two months

Did you lodge your applications? May I know where you from and what would be your work in Canada?

Hi and thanks for the reply,
Well we applied 3 times for a TRV for visitor, 2 out of the 3 times was to be present for the birth of our daughter, the 3rd one was the finally be able to meet my mother. We are trying once again, our refusal letter was based on no evidence of work so we know have a letter from my husbands employer stating that he his confident of his return, a copy of the purchase of out home by my husband and I. A letter from our tenant who pays x amount rent per month and a letter from my mother who states that she is aware of our visit and time frame and she mentions that accommodation and food will be taken care of by her during the two weeks. My mother hasnt seen my daughter now since she is 3 months old she is now 17 months old and she still has yet to meet my husband. Please help !!! and thank you.
Any feedback would be appreciated to my last post help Buleg!!

Hi,
I'm not the expert here, but having 3 refusal is really hard on your part to reapply for another TRV. Did you address your reason for refusal the last time you submit? Why don't you apply PR for your husband? it's the best thing to do. If you're going to reapply for TRV make a letter state for dual intent. You can search in the thread about dual intent. When was your last application refused?
Hello and thank you for the reply,
Well the last refusal was May 02, 2012 and we are planning on applying for PR but we honestly werent ready to establsih ourselves in Canada yet, we really wanted to go visit my mother for two weeks.

But this is a first that I hear about this dual intent, a little unsure of it??

Try to research in the other thread about dual intent, click the "HOME" button on the upper middle side of this forum then on the "Search" box type dual intent then click "search" button you'll find infos about it
You can also try to read this link: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/index.php?action=search2
