My wife’s passport was dispatched to vfs on Wednesday but vfs didn’t courier it yet. Anyone in the same position?

The system has shut down due to covid so it is pretty likely that it will be a while until your wife gets her passport back.

Pretty likely that this will be extended past 30 days but nobody can predict 100%.

Nope, my passport is still at IRCC office since 13th April.

Same here. My Passport is with them. Last status I have :

Your application, tracking ID No. ************ is in transit and has been dispatched to the IRCC Office through the Canada Visa Application Centre, Bangalore Office, on 4/19/

What are the next steps now? So no more passport movement? But there is no lockdown in bangalore. Does that mean they will process my passport

Nope, my passport is still at IRCC office since 13th April.

My passport From 26th march, still no counterfoil, over a month now

I asked for an extension for passport submission today. VFS is closed but is it possible to drop the passports ourselves or can it only be done through them?

you can not drop passport to visa office it has to be done by VFS only

Yes we are in same situation... VFS will now sit on it untill they resume the 2 way courier service. Untill then there is nothing you can do.
