My passport picked up on 3 August. From yesterday, its status showing "on hold as requested by shipper" what it means ?

May I please know what happened after the tracker showed "On Hold As Requested By Shipper"? I am facing the same thing.

Hi. My Spouse and I recently sent our passports for stamping.
Timeline:
PPR: 26 May 2023
Booked two-way courier: 27 May 2023
Passports picked up: 29 May 2023
Package was connected to the next check point: 30 May 2023
ON HOLD REQUESTED BY SHIPPER: 30May 2023.

This is where we are. Don't know what the last status means. Waiting for the next actions. Would be great if others also share their experiences regarding this.

Hi All,
My child's passport application has been received at Canada VAC, New Delhi on Tue May 30 2023 and is in transit to the IRCC office in New Delhi OC for processing.

We haven't received any update after that. Is there anything to be worried off. Usually we get an update with hours once it reaches IRCC office.Its almost two days now. Why this delay? Can somebody faced this issue or throw some light?

No. Under process since 17th may. No update since then, VFS said it should come in 10-12 days, but nothing yet.. Don't know how much time it takes..

Was worried. But I want to say that, those who got the update saying “ON HOLD REQUESTED BY SHIPPER”, nothing to worry about. It will get updated the next day.
I got further notifications stating:
Our Passport were received by VFS: 31 May
Passports forwarded to IRCC: 31 May
passports reached IRCC:1 June
Passports are being processed in IRCC: 1 June.

Would like to know about how others' passport statuses… Good luck everyone.
