TRV ( Visitor Visa ) VIENNA Embassy

Hi Seniors,

I am Indian National currently staying in Germany on long term visa & want to apply for TRV ( Visitor Visa ) from Vienna Embassy to visit my younger sister, who is studying in Toronto on a Student Permit.

which documents should I need from her to file an application.

All Expenses will be covered by me.!!

Can you guys suggest me some basic information (Positive points) for a successful TRV

What is the category for your long-term visa?

I am Currently staying here since 2013 under European Union Residence 5 years Permit ( Leading to German PR )
working since 3 years with permanent job
Martial Status : Separated ( No family )
Travel history : Schengen Countries & UK

Hi,

You must include evidence of your immigration status in Germany.

Also, other ties such as your employment + tenancy agreement + dependent family + good financial situation + previous travel history. If you own property/land in India then you can submit evidence of that too

Your sister must send you an invitation letter, copies of her passport and study permit

Should I need to book confirmed tickets OR just I mention the traveling dates..??

For 2 weeks duration should I need to book hotel too...? ( During the visit I wanna see Niagara falls & other tourist places too.. )

If Possible, can you give me the INVITATION LETTER format please.. ( She can invite me any time or specifically in her holidays period..? )

Do not book confirmed tickets. You can include a provisional flight itinerary.

Yes. but again, do not confirm any hotel bookings until you get a TRV.

Do prepare a detailed day-by-day itinerary of tourist places, activities, meeting relatives, etc... with expense estimates (entry fees, meals, travel, hotel, etc).... and prove that you have the funds to pay for the itinerary + hotel + airfare + other expenses

She can invite you anytime.... preferably when both of you have holidays/national holidays
