TRV Refusal for Business Trip

Dear all,

I am just new to this form, can somebody please guide me a bit if I need to reapply as my application is refused in first attempt.

Following reasons are stated for my visa refusal.

1. Length of proposed stay in Canada
2. Purpose of visit
3. Your current employment situation
4. Your personal assets and financial status

I applied for a special advanced IFRS 2days course in toronto. Overall I had stated in my application 10 days stay in Canada.

My purpose of visit was to attend the course sponsored by my employer. I work in multinational telecom company.

I just really dont know what do they mean by my current employment situation.

I provided them the letter from employer that they will cover all my cost associated to this trip. I also provided them my personal bank statement had a running balance of US$8000.

Please someone guide if I can reapply.

when & did u apply from?? how long it took to get response? you can ask for GSMS note where you will find details of your visa refusal reason.

Hi redstone,My TRV application is refused, can i also ask for GSMS, and from where i can request for that?

you can ask for gsms note after refusal or during file processing time. if you have relative/friend live in canada, they can apply on behalf of you & it cost only $5.00. within/after 1 month your relative/friend will get gsms note.

Thanks for the response.
I applied from Afghanistan via Gerry. It took more then two months. I got a letter from them stated the reason which are in my first post.
And what is GSMS note, can I get that online?
