I graduated from my University in Aug 2013, and got a open Work Permit which is valid till June 2016. But my student VISA expired on Aug 31, 2013. I got a little delayed in applying for my TRV, and applied on Dec 08, 2013. I haven't heard back from CIC yet. And I intend to travel on Jan 31, 2014 for my engagement to India. Is that something that I should be worried about? Or CIC is just taking some time processing my application? I am worried if my TRV application will be rejected due to re-application after the grace period of 90 days (I was delayed by a week). And if rejected, is there a way to get my TRV maybe done in India - how long does that take?
