Canadian TRV from India

Hi,
I have a valid work permit of Canada which is valid till Mar 2015 but I don't have a TRV stamped on my passport. Now the situation is, I left Canada on 29th March 2013 to India to face some family issues for which I had to extend my stay here in India. Now since my responsibilities are over, I am planning to go back by the end of August 2013 and I have a good 1 month to apply for TRV in India. Will I get my TRV in 1 month's time? if not, do I need to travel via USA (I do have a valid B1/B2 visa and been to USA in 2012 for 3 months and returned to Canada without a TRV). What is the best way to return to Canada in this situation? The TRV processing time in Delhi says it takes 4 days to approve. I just want an opinion/help before I sent my passport to stamp TRV since my ticket to Canada is already confirmed for 01 Sept 2013.

I had a similar query. This is what I know now...
If you have a valid study permit/work permit for Canada, and a valid visa for the US, the only scenario in which you can enter Canada from US without a TRV is if you left Canada to visit the US ONLY...now since you have obviously visited India as well, you can't enter Canada via US.
I don't know the processing times for TRV from India, but I have heard there's some strike going on in many countries of CIC workers, so difficult to say at this point.

I am holding a PGWP permit and I have just applied for TRV in India on 24th july.....Lets see how much time it takes. The vfs people told it might take 1 month due to strike
