Is there anyone in the same situation?
I applied TRV online on Jan 30 and was asked to send my passport to CPP-Ottawa. They received my passport on Feb 22. I haven't heard anything back since then. I really stress out since I have to go back home to get married next week.
I sent them an email yesterday but didn't get a respond.
Did anyone get their passport back form Ottawa? I really appreciate if you can share you experience.
Keep me posted on this as I would like to know how long it will take for them to send the passport back. I will be in that same situation soon.
I already replied to him. It will take them 7 business days or more to send your passport back. Hope that helps!

How sure you are that it would take them 7 business days or so to mail the passport back?
I don't have the answer to that. However, I'm holding in my hands my passport with the VISA stamped-on right now, the 8th business day from the date they received my passport.

Hi i have a important question,
Currently i'm in Canada and i'm Canadian work permit holder. On the February I applied for single entry TRV within from Canada, and still waiting.
the question is : Can i go to my home country and then come back to Canada with single entry TRV ?
1 thing is : this single entry TRV hasn't ever used to enter Canada, because I applied from within Canada .

Thank you for this. I think I will wait after I travel to Ottawa and return on the 19th and then submit it as I feel more comfortable having a whole month to get it back then the two week window. I too believe it shouldn't take more than a week. Thanks for your help!
Hi GeoGeo, may I ask if you submitted the IMM5654 Family Infor Form? I have applied for my TRV online where there were no indication of the use of this Form. Now I am worried that I may miss this doc in my application. Thank you!

Have you received your passport back? It's been 2 weeks since I sent my passport - I don't see any update from Cpp Ottawa.
I see that some people have received it within 2-3 days after sending the passport.

Finally got my passport with visa stamp
CPP Ottawa took 2 weeks to process visa after they received my passport.
