Got a response from my MP today. They responded with the following:

I hope this email finds you well. I spoke with IRCC and the update is as follows:

• The application was received on May 26th 2022.
• TRV applications have a processing time of 137, therefore if everything goes well, a decision will be made by October 10th, 2022.

Not too helpful but still gives a little hope

- Showed bank statement and Job letter
- For home ties, mentioned returning to parents and job
- Included letter from sponsor/invitee (myself) attested by lawyer and CRA notice of assessment
- Included a strong cover letter to explain to the temporary nature of stay, home ties and disclosed existing PR application in progress/dual intent
- Included a detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip

Applied on 6th July 2022

Got confirmation on 7th July 2022.

Already gave Biometrics in 2017 , so not required untill 2027.
