I applied on June May 2nd and still no response from them despite calling them and submitting Web Form couple of times, instead I was advised to keep my correspondence with CIC to a minimum lol..

This does not make sense to me at all, like a person living in Canada (legally), completed education, gained Open WP and working legally since WP is not expired and still have to wait for so long to get a VISA stamp on the passport just to come back to Canada ? Why would you have issued a Work Permit at first place if you're still left with investigations?

I know .. this is so frustrating..i dont know why they are taking that much time to send passport back.. everything is done only they just need to dispatched it..

Mine said background check not applicable, i'm just tired of checking and is frustrating. it is already 10 days. let me know when you have new update. Submitted mine around morning on May 30th

Well, I submitted mine on 2nd May and still nothing....called them and emailed but nothing moved, this is so annoying and also they advised me to keep my correspondence with them to a minimum lol...
