Did you not have to take an appointment for a US B1/B2 visa? And, if you did, they would have told you immediately if you were refused else the visa would be stamped in your passport immediately

No this time the officer in toronto said we need to run background check on your employer in Iran (my internship in iran) . so when i check my visa profile online it says its under further administrative processes. I have not been rejected tho. So do you think that might affect my TRV?

Typically, it could take up to 60 days to complete the administrative processing after the visa interview. It seems like it is taking longer in your case.

Maybe you should inform IRCC about this

Thanks alot Bryanna; well last time i followed up on my US visa the replied that admin processes might take months to years lol its funny i am sure its about Trump visa ban. What exactly should i mention in my CS email? Isnt that extra information which might confuse them? How would this help my TRV?

Fyi i sent the translation of my passport as you suggested and got confirmation of receipt whithin a day by IRCC

The response you have received to the CSE is an automated one.

I would send another email to CPC-O sometime next week to reconfirm if the additional documents have been updated in your application

Thanks bryanna, the automated one comes rightaway . the one i got the day after was saying we would ljke to confirm fhe reception of your document and we sent it to the responsible office. But i will follow up again. If it passes 90 days i will initiate talks with MP of my City in canada

So just share information

my case is in Ottawa. It has been 85 days

My gf got MP of my City in canada to contact IRCC

I have passed the eligebility and its at final stages of security check

But MP could ask for an urgent case considerations. For that the IRCC offixer asked my employer to write a letter how my absence has hurt our business.

I hope it works
