Hi Im so worried on whats going on with my TRV application which I sent to Ottawa on July 7, 2012...they received it on the 10th.
I send all the necessary forms and documents needed, except my plain ticket as my friends told me to enclose but the document checklist doesnt say so. Is a plain ticket really needed for TRV?
pls help..
Is there any way I can call Ottawa office?
thanks,
OIIQ
Hi
Your application was recieved on 10th July so visa must be issued on 30th July or today. CPP-O got mine on 9th July and issued on 27th July (Friday), since there are 2 days (weekend) in between, you should get your visa pretty soon. Keep tracking on Canada post.
Plain tickets are not at all required.
really? I hope so, because, I did send 1 prepaid xpresspost for my passport, and I have the tracking number but I couldnt track yet on the post canada site...I hope its on the way..
I have a couple of question I was hoping someone can help me with. My TRV just expired on 7/30, it was a S1 Student visa.
I have a Post Grad work permit that is valid until 2015. I would like to apply for my TRV, can I still apply for it at the office in Ottawa even after it has expired? Also I see that it ask for UCI is that the same as Client ID, if not where can I find this info on my TRV or work permit?
Lastly for where it ask for current country of residence do I put Canada or my country of citizenship?
Hi Sturd
I gave the info based on the calculation of the days it took for my visa to get issued (18 days) from CPP-O....No info that I posted is coming from any other source.
Thanks

Hi
as Sturd pointed out, I should mention that my reply to your quote was based on the calculation of days it took for my visa to get issued. My post doesn't come from any other source. So please keep this in consideration....
