I live in Canada and have received the AOR for my PR application (it is in the background check process). What should I answer to this question in my temporary visitor visa application:
"Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?"
Thank you! Since my PR application status is "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."(similar to what mentioned in the AOR letter), my answer to the question should be "No". Right?
Your application is “approved in principle (AIP)” if: you have received a letter from IRCC stating that you meet the permanent residence eligibility requirements, but. you still have to pass the medical, security and background checks for you and, if needed, your family members. I think it should be yes if you received the AOR.
