My study permit and study visa were expiring so I applied to extend it. After my study permit gets approved, I need to send another application for the TRV. But, the thing is I am gonna travel to only US in about 1.5 months. I know that even if your TRV is expired, you can come back to Canada if you only visited US, and you have a valid Study Permit. The thing is, is it better to apply for TRV from inside Canada, and will I receive it before I leave Canada, or just go to US, and apply for TRV from there, as I am gonna be staying there for 3 months. I can't find the processing time on TRV for IRCC. Which timeline would this fall under?
