Travelling without PR card

Can I travel without my PR card?
I am currently waiting to receive my PR card . I submitted my info my mail as directed on 25th March 2020 and still am waiting. I am in Canada along depressed and would like to travel to go see loved ones.I haven been apart from my loved ones for almost 2 years and I don’t know how much longer I can go on like this. I am drained and exhausted, I’m lonely. I wished that pandemic never happened. It’s tuning my life . IRCC agents are not much help. I am trying to call the VCA office in the destination country to confirm if they are indeed processing/ issuing the document I need. see if I can apply for a PRTD. Is anyone in the same position ? I need some advice about travelling without a PR card

Except other means not involving commercial vehicle such as crossing land border by foot - CBSA accept expired PR card.

Thank you ! I’ve been trying to call the visa office in country I’m trying to travel to but their operating hours are such a small window. I’m trying to confirm with them before I actually leave the country

I would contact CBSA instead. You deal with them while crossing international borders returning to the country.

In this case I don't think we're dealing with someone who has an expired car, but someone who hasn't yet received the first PR card.

CBSA also accept your stamped COPR (landing paper). They might be able to verify your status using your passport alone.

Thanks! i still havent receive my card at yet and i am travelling soon.I plan to apply for the ptrd document to return to canada.
